Ashwood Construction is a Kaipara-based building company led by experienced builder Lee Branford, proudly serving Mangawhai, Kaiwaka, Waipu and surrounding areas. With more than 20 years in the trade, including a decade honing his craft in the UK and another ten years building across New Zealand, Lee brings a depth of experience, strong design sensibility and old-school workmanship to every project.

Established in 2017, Ashwood Construction has earned a solid reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial builds throughout Northland. From full architectural new homes and major renovations to outdoor living spaces, decks, fencing and landscaping, every project is approached with care, precision and attention to detail. Recent work includes a striking underground “bunker bar” at Te Arai Links Golf Course, heritage restoration of the Waipu Bank building, and a range of bespoke homes across the region. Whether building from the ground up or transforming an existing space, the Ashwood Construction team is known for clear communication, honest advice and results built to last.
